Who doesn’t get a hankering for quality asian food every now and then?? For me, the craving that always hits is for chicken fried rice. It’s hard to find the good asian restaurants so we’ve eaten at several around town and hope this will guide you to the best. Here are our tried and true asian dining spots in Nashville.
Bangkokville Thai Cuisine – somewhat off the beaten path Thai restaurant located in South Nashville (off Haywood) with no internet presence. This was a beloved take out restaurant for us before I found out I was intolerant to gluten. One night while sitting on the couch already starving with no idea what was for dinner, we decided to call and see if they had gluten free options or even knew what it was. Low and behold, they were well aware of it and more than happy to accommodate us. The only gluten free items we have ordered are the peanut skewers and the pad see ew. We plan to go back soon and talk with the owner to find out what all can be made gluten free so stay tuned!
Hot Pot Asian
Vui’s Kitchen – owned by the same couple that owns I <3 Juice Bar (my fav!) and located on an adorable corner in Berry Hill, Vui's serves the freshest Vietnamese food in town. It has a small menu but many options are gluten free or can be made gluten free. I think her pho is tasty!
